Trip to Tagaytay – June 2025

Tagaytay has seen many improvements since our last visit, with new establishments such as malls, restaurants, and hotels. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather and limited time - we only had one day - we were able to visit just two places: Tagaytay Picnic Grove and People’s Park in the Sky.

At Picnic Grove, a new parking building has been constructed for visitors. Several new amenities have also been added since our last trip, including restaurants, zip lines, and even a giant Ferris wheel. Some facilities, however, were still under renovation.

To get to People’s Park in the Sky, we took a tricycle, but the fare was surprisingly high at ₱50 per passenger. Sadly, the park itself seemed downgraded and poorly maintained. The food vendors were gone, and the nearby public restroom was closed. The park seemed to be running only because people still go there, not because it’s being looked after.
