Fujifilm's Instax Mini 7s Camera

Instax Mini 7s by Fujifilm, is an instant camera that uses "Instax Mini" film, a credit-card-size instant film with ISO800 speed. The camera can be turned on and off by pulling in and out the lens barrel in front of the camera.

It is a simple point-and-shoot instant camera with 4 light conditions setting to choose from. First, the Indoor or Dark (house symbol), use it when you're shooting indoor or during the night outdoor; Cloudy or Shady (cloud symbol), use it when taking picture under dark condition or almost no shadow during the day, like rainy or heavy clouds, and in the shades; Fine (Sun symbol with less rays), use it when taking picture under bright condition during the day but there are thin clouds; and last, Clear (Sun symbol with more rays), use it when shooting under bright condition on day time or subject is directly hit by the sun.

The shutter speed is 1/60 second with shooting range from 0.6 meter to infinity. Subject closer than 0.6 meter will be out of focused, close-up lens, selfie mirror, and other lens accessories are sold separately.

The flash is constantly firing even on a bright day light, but it automatically adjusts to the light condition. The effective flash range is from 0.6 meter to 2.7 meters, beyond that, don't expect bright subject.

The camera is powered by 4 double-AA size alkaline batteries, that may last up to 20 film packs or around 200 shots. The power is automatically turned off when not in use for 5 minutes to save power and can be turned on again by pressing the shutter button or pulling in and out the lens barrel.

You can find the exposure counter at the back of the camera. The letter S on the counter means sample. All instax film pack is covered by black film plastic or sample film to prevent exposing the actual film while outside the pack or camera.

Before taking a picture, make sure that the green lamp on exposure dial is lit steady, it means that the camera is ready to take a picture. Sequencial blink of lamps mean that the flash is charging, and if they blink simultaneously, it means, you need to replace your batteries.

Light meter is located beside the flash, so don't cover it when you take picture to get the best exposure possible.
