If you're looking for a place to bring your family on weekend short vacation, this is the perfect place.
Two of the most popular and affordable tourist destination in Tagaytay City are the Picnic Groove and People's Park in the Sky.
The Picnic Grove, is a very large park that has tables, chairs, and huts for picnicking with your family or friends. Also, there's a horse back-riding areas, restaurant, and some eco-trail / foot bridges.
There is a zipline and cable cars that crosses ridges of the park. It is one of the good locations where you can see the Taal Volcano clearly.
People's Park In The Sky, is at the highest point in Tagaytay City; it was a vacation house made by former President Ferdinand Marcos, but was opened to the public years after he was kicked out from the seat.
The park overlooks Taal lake, Laguna Bay, and Manila Bay. It has also tables, chairs, and huts for picnicking purpose with your family or friends.
There are religious statues for Catholics, and there are stores in the park where you can buy souvenir T-shirts, keychains, arts, and other Tagaytay made desserts / appetizers.
How to get to Tagaytay?
All buses going to province of Cavite and some parts of Batangas are all in one bus terminal at South West Integrated Provincial Transport Terminal, Tambo, Paranaque City.
They were transferred by Metro Manila Development Authority in 2013 to lessen heavy traffic in Metro Manila.
If you are in EDSA, ride any bus that's going to Coastal Mall, the terminal is in Coastal Mall, then you can now find buses easily that is going to Tagaytay.
